ABOUT THE ROLE

SonarMD is seeking a person for our operations team to support patient outreach and advocacy.  As patient engagement specialist, you play a crucial role providing support to patients and communicating their needs to the practice.  Our ideal candidate is compassionate, friendly, and dependable.  As the primary resource that engages with patients, you are customer service oriented and passionate about helping others.  You are comfortable speaking with strangers, learning as much as possible, and ensuring the patient receives what is needed. 

This position will:

  • Follow established protocols to review health assessments and escalate patient needs to practice partners
  • Communicate with patients to capture symptoms and address concerns
  • Collaborate with SonarMD medical team to audit existing protocols and ensure compliancy
  • Work across departments to improve the SonarMD program, including but not limited to product and program insights
  • Develop, refine and improve ongoing communications with patients
  • Participate in team meetings, activities and efforts to contribute to a positive team and patient experience
  • Treat patients like you would want to be treated.
  • Continually assess and improve processes to enhance the patient and practice experience.
  • Be nimble and flexible. Available to fill gaps within the organization that exist.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree
  • Extra consideration given to those with an LCSW
  • Excellent at communication, verbal and written
  • Experience working in healthcare, preferably with patients or practice staff
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments
  • Comfortable using variety of technology platforms like texting and phone calls
  • Ability to work independently

 

ABOUT OUR TECHNOLOGY

  • Our patient facing solution includes a secure browser-based platform for direct patient engagement. Our provider facing solution is a desktop and mobile compliant portal for access to patient management. We are not a mobile app; we provide frictionless communications to maintain record level engagement levels.
