SonarMD today presented positive results from two large, longitudinal studies evaluating several major drivers of medical costs in people living with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) – defined as people living with ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease – and enrolled in the company's end-to-end, digital care coordination program.

Flashback to 2019: The study demonstrated a reduction in emergency room visits and hospitalizations among patients enrolled in the medical home model. Our "Project Sonar" model facilitated better management of symptoms and more proactive care, leading to a marked decrease in overall healthcare expenditures.
