SonarMD CEO A.R. Weiler joined ‘Voices in Value-based Care’ host Matt Fusan to discuss how SonarMD is bringing GI specialists into the value-based care world.
Weiler, who was previously CEO of Healthsense and Livio, talked about how SonarMD is detecting often unrecognized symptom deterioration and coordinating care to address problems sooner – before an ER or hospital visit is needed.
He explained how SonarMD’s early detection/action platform is improving quality of life and outcomes for people with inflammatory bowel disease like Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis, while also driving down total cost of care.
Weiler said SonarMD works in partnership with providers, leverages innovative technology, and fosters positive, personalized interactions with patients.
“Having technology is great, but having trust and a warm human voice is critical. There really needs to be a good balance between technology and the human factor.”
The podcast, which airs on HealthcareNOW Radio, also focused on the rise of monitoring patients in between medical visits, as well as SonarMD’s unique ability to create a winning solution for patients, providers, and payers alike.
“It is truly revolutionary to achieve both lower costs and increased quality of care simultaneously, ” Weiler said.
“We’re showing we can do that today at SonarMD.
